  • From the archive: 2002

Tim is one of the spearheads of contemporary bluegrass and folk.  As co- founder and lead vocalist of  Hot Rize, Tim  served as a bridge between the traditional sounds of the hill country and the modern styles of bluegrass. The Crossing comes from the wellspring of Celtic music and it’s Appalachian and bluegrass descendants. Among the musicians taking a part in the Crossing are ; Karen Casey of Solas, Dirk Powell( Balfa Tourjours), Kevin Burke ( Bothy Band, Patrick St) and Mairtin O’Connor (De Dannan) and the amazing Steve Cooney on guitar.
