The Gables self-catering accommodation is a spacious cosy 18th-century fishing lodge restored by Kevin in 1989, dating back to the original Archersgrove house.

On arrival, you will be personally greeted with a warm Irish welcome by your hosts, Kevin and Joan, who will show you to your cottage where a complimentary “Welcome Pack” of home baking awaits you.
As you wake up in the morning listen to the birds singing outside in the horse chestnut tree and gaze out at the ponies grazing in the fields. Take a walk down to the river to catch fresh fish for your supper.

Relax at a warm turf fire after a day visiting attractions in Kilkenny and the southeast of Ireland, historical sites or fishing on the River Nore which runs through our farm. Maybe you would prefer to visit a local Irish pub and listen to traditional music.

The Gables is the perfect location to experience all aspects of Kilkenny Tourism explore the Sunny South East and Discover Ireland.
