Martin Stephenson is one of the UK’s best-loved songwriter/musicians for over 35 years. His must-see live performances are an exuberant tour-de-force combining heart-in-your-mouth intimacy with playful humour and warm self-deprecation.

He has amassed a strong back catalog of quality albums, including the highly acclaimed album Boat to Bolivia, released in 1986.  Martin is renowned as a hard-working touring artist, never failing to deliver quality performances.

His band of Daintees are a highly skilled squad of versatile master musicians with exceptionally wide-ranging skills, including ‘Alt Country’ which was a term Stephenson originated in 1985 whilst describing the song ‘Running Water’ on his debut album Boat to Bolivia.

After performing the song Rain on the recent Billy Connolly documentary, the Big Yin described Martin as… “his kind of musician.”

John Perry began playing professionally at 15 and played on the first pyramid stage at the 1971 Glastonbury Festival. He spent several years touring England and Europe with Hawkwind/Pink Fairies collective before forming ‘The Only Ones’ in 1975 with Peter Perrett, recording a series of albums for CBS Records.  The Only Ones toured Ireland twice in 1979, and John Perry is well known for the guitar solo from ‘Another Girl Another Planet’, which introduced the Dave Fanning show to the nation nightly for almost a decade.
